Harassment:
Technovations III maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive or derogatory comments, any form of verbal or physical intimidation, actions that create discomfort or embarrassment for others, and any form of sexual misconduct. This includes non-consensual gestures and behaviors, whether occurring on campus or through digital platforms like WhatsApp.
Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or socio-economic status is unacceptable. Our goal is to foster an environment where everyone feels respected, safe, and included.
Language:
All participants must ensure that they maintain a professional and respectful tone throughout the event. Offensive language or derogatory remarks to any individual involved in the event are prohibited and will cause instant disqualification and eviction from the venue.
Respectful conduct towards all individuals including staff, other participants, and event visitors, is expected at all times. Any forms of name- calling or threats that provoke violence or disturbances at the activities will not be accepted.
Any breach of the above shall resort to compelling measures such as disqualification, according to the judgment of the event heads.
Equity:
We encourage attendees to bring concerns to the Executive Council to ensure Technovations III remains a positive, safe, and inspiring event. Equity concerns can be addressed through informal or formal procedures: the informal process allows anonymous reporting, while the formal process involves submitting an official, named report to initiate a thorough investigation.
Participants can report complaints to the event heads or Executive Council, with all reports handled confidentially to protect everyone involved. By signing the registration forms, attendees agree to the Code of Conduct and take full responsibility for their actions during the event.
